The Printing...
The Prints...The prints will be made using Epson's top inkjet printer; the 2100, which can print up to A3+ in size and utilises seven seperate inks for astonishingly fine detail and tonal shading.
10 year anti-fade guarantee:
As long as you have your print properly framed under glass, away from direct sunlight, or in an album, I will replace any print free of charge if it shows signs of fading within 10 years of purchase. Prints will be made on Dupont gloss paper, which gives faithful colour rendition and long print life. This combination of printer and premium paper type have excellent non-fade characteristics, typically 45 years indoors. Unless requested, I'll leave a plain border around each print making it suitable for you to mount and frame, but if you wish, I'll trim them to size leaving no white border.

The Camera...
I'm currently using a 10.3 megapixel Sony DSC-R1 camera, which gives super detailed prints up to 18" x 12". However, many of the photographs available have been taken using an 8 megapixel Konica-Minolta A2 which gives more than enough resolution for large detailed prints. A few of the photographs were taken at slightly lower resolutions (but still high quality) and where necessary, I've not made the larger print sizes available for these.

Standard Photo Sizes
The overall size of each photo is determined in part by its 'aspect ratio'. Photographs taken with my previous Minolta A2 camera had a '4 x 3' aspect, hence the prints will end up at roughly 8" x 6", 10" x 8", 12" x 9" or 16" x 12". The new Sony R1 camera takes photos with a '3 x 2' aspect ratio, therefore slightly different sizes are available: 9" x 6", 11" x 8", 12" x 8" or 18" x 12".If you require your prints to be an exact size, please contact me before placing an order - I can crop most photos to suit your requirements, but obviously some elements of a photo will be eliminated by altering any photograph.
